Letter from Sweden

Hello every body :)

I have been two weeks of vacations in Sweden for orienteering. I want to share with you this experience.

Sweden is a country of freedom in the nature. It is your freedom with a map in the forest or kayak in its precious lakes. To run by its forests, you have to feel in each footstep the soft of green moss. You have to live in your heart each stone and tree, touch with the fingers each curve of the relief, love equal the map and the land and fuss over each detail… if not you can be lost in a rock sea or a beautiful forest without end, a desert without direction.









Orienteering in Sweden is sharing your way of living the sport with thousands of people. It is to speak the same language without understanding the native language. It is like returning to house and being with a family who never you had seen.

Watching the World Cup of orienteering, is to live your sport like a soccer match. It is to vibrate with your runners and to feel that you run to its side. For them it is to feel the push of the public and to forget the solitude the forest. But unlike soccer, they are more accessible and later you can seat with your idol to comment race:)

Run in Sweden leaves in you the seed of the love for the sport in the nature it does not make you feel like a stranger.
